Civil War Soldier Photo Framedsword Belt PlatepistolUp for bids. Authentic framed photo of a civil war soldier. This auction is for a photo of a young civil war calvary soldier wearing his uniform. In this photo you can see his pistol tucked into his belt on his side. You also can see his sword belt plate on his belt. He is wearing his riding glvoes and kepi. The buttons are noticable on the front of ihs jacket. Very clear image! As for the back mark. Burchfied & bottorf from my understanding took photos in a traveling shop aboard a train during the civil war in what they called their mammoth car. And for the frame. Its the original frame htat was available to the soldiers then. Its in very good condition and the gold matting around the picture is aswell. hTe matting has a flower print stamped on it. A very clear image of a calvary soldier with pistol, & plate. Very nice original frame with matting. All together this makes a great display!
